Description
The Estuary perch is also known as Gippsland Perch and Perch. The upper body colour of the Estuary Perch is silvery grey that progresses down the flanks to a silver white belly. Estuary Perch are easily confused with Australian Bass the difference are Estuary Perch have a noticeable concave shaped forehead. The fins are a uniform brownish colour and also have a deeper body than Australian Bass. Estuary Perch can grow to 10kg however more commonly caught around the 1kg mark.
