Features a high-capacity triple-lane concrete boat launch ramp facility (consisting of a double ramp and a separate deeper single ramp) equipped with a central floating universal access pontoon jetty. Positioned inside protected Melville Bay, providing safe deep-water launching into the Arafura Sea and Gulf of Carpentaria across all tidal conditions. Facilities include a bitumen car-and-trailer carpark, public restrooms, stainless-steel fish cleaning station, vessel wash-down bay, Gove Yacht Club dining, marine fuel wharf, and 24-hour lighting. Located off Wirrwawuy Road on the Gove Peninsula foreshore, Nhulunbuy NT 0880. Managed by DIPL NT and Dhimurru Aboriginal Corporation. Features an unsealed natural sand over-beach launching area allowing 4WD vehicles to launch tinnies and sportsboats directly into protected bay waters. Ideal for accessing inshore coral reefs and Bremer Island. Low tide sandbar conditions require 4WD vehicles with low tyre pressures.
