- Soldier Crabs: Locate the expansive sand flats near the Golden Beach shoreline at low tide, where thousands of blue soldier crabs march in armies. They are highly effective when fished in small clumps of three to four on a fine-gauge hook for big bream and whiting.
- Poddy Mullet: Cast-netted or caught on an ultra-light rod and reel using tiny hooks baited with bread dough. Never use traps in tidal waters as it is strictly illegal.
