Fishing The Southport Seaway Pipeline (Southport)
The pipeline is constructed of heavy-duty steel and concrete armor, dropping steeply from five meters at the base of the South Wall rocks down into a fifteen-meter deep sandy canyon. This massive structure creates a high-velocity current funnel where the incoming ocean tide accelerates, generating a massive pressure eddy on its down-current side.
